GFX is an FDA approved radio frequency device that Dr. Ross A. Clevens uses to relax the frowning muscles of the brow and the raising muscle action of the forehead. GFX is an anti wrinkle treatment that has proved to reduce muscle activity thereby reducing the signs of wrinkling and aging on the forehead and between the brows. GFX may be, for some, an alternative to Botox injections.
Each time you frown, smile, or raise your eyebrows your underlying muscles are contracting. Over time, this muscle action causes outward signs of aging by way of lines and wrinkles in the brow and forehead region. GFX is a low intensity stimulator that locates hyperactive muscle activity and delivers a specific dose of radio frequency energy to the muscle which leads to a reduction of that muscle action. The result is the diminished appearance of lines and wrinkles. Along with softening lines and wrinkles, it gives eyebrows a lift while persevering other muscles so the forehead is not completely stiff, giving a more natural look. Whereas Botox generally lasts about 3-4 months, GFX may last up to 12-18 months or longer.
