To ensure your comfort and safety, Dr. Clevens has chosen to perform surgery only in fully accredited Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) that exceed the most stringent state and national accreditation standards. Each of his centers is staffed by experienced professionals that respect your privacy. The Clevens Centers are equipped with the most advanced computers, lasers, surgical, endoscopic and monitoring equipment available.
Your procedure will be performed with a Board Certified MD physician anesthesiologist in attendance monitoring you during your surgery, rather than a nurse anesthetist. This physician specialist is dedicated to your safety and comfort during your procedure.
Our facilities are AHCA and Florida state inspected and hold the coveted distinction of being Medicare certified and JCAHO or AAAHC accredited. These are the most rigorous of all certifying agencies. This translates into the highest level of safety available during your procedure at our ASC.
Most cosmetic surgery is performed in doctors’ offices. Surprisingly, in most states office-based surgery is unregulated. On the other hand, obtaining certification as an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) demands the highest standards of quality, safety, and technology to meet the highly-regulated standards imposed by the certifying agencies.
We strive to provide you with the highest level of safety, comfort, care, and service. Therefore, we take pride in our ability to obtain and maintain Medicare certification for our Ambulatory Surgery Center.
