What Is Revision Surgery?

The do-over you’ve dreamed of to improve your plastic surgery results.

Revision or “corrective” surgery is performed to address areas of the face or body impacted by unfavorable aesthetic or functional results from a previous procedure. When plastic surgery results don’t turn out the way you expected or complications arise, a revision procedure may be needed for correction.

Is Revision Surgery Right For Me?

Enhance your plastic surgery results to mirror your aesthetic goals.

Revision surgery is an excellent way to improve on the results of a previous procedure. Whether you’re looking to correct a mistake, such as asymmetric implants, or you simply want to enhance your results to better meet your aesthetic goals, revision surgery may be a good option for you. Although, in most cases we recommend waiting for at least one year before performing revision surgery in order to allow the tissues to heal properly.

A specialist in facial or breast and body plastic surgery procedures can make a recommendation on whether or not you’re a good candidate for corrective surgery based on your overall health, anatomy, and desired results.

Revision Surgery Benefits

Goodbye disappointment, hello results you love.

Revision Surgery Procedures

Achieve the results you were hoping for the first time around.

Our specialist plastic surgeons offer corrective surgery for several different procedures. The most common revision procedures we perform include:

  • Rhinoplasty revision
  • Breast augmentation revision
  • Tummy tuck revision
  • Blepharoplasty revision (eyelid surgery)
  • Facelift revision
  • Liposuction revision
Implant removal (breast, butt, cheek, and
  • chin)
Corrective procedures are often more complicated than the initial surgery due to scar tissue that forms in the area. That’s why it’s important to choose a surgeon with extensive experience and ample training in the corrective surgery of your choosing. This will improve the likelihood of achieving the results you’re hoping for after your revision is complete.

l-quoteI would recommend to all of my friends to visit Dr. Clevens with any interest in any facial plastic surgery. Signature Profile Neck Lift™ FAQ

What is the Signature Profile Neck Lift™?

You may have seen a profile photograph of yourself and realized you’re unhappy with your neckline. The Signature Profile Neck Lift™ is a unique procedure to address the laxity that forms in the neckline over time, tightening the neck muscles and removing excess skin to create a youthful, long-lasting profile appearance.

Am I a good candidate for this procedure?

The Signature Profile Neck Lift™ is an ideal solution for anyone who has a lot of laxity in the neck and chin, as well as muscle banding, unwanted fat deposition, and excess sagging skin. If you want a facelift without the required downtime, or have too much excess tissue in the neck to enjoy the benefits of the Laser-Assisted Weekend Neck Lift™, the Signature Profile Neck Lift™ may also be right for you.

How is the Signature Profile Neck Lift™ performed?

The Signature Profile Neck Lift™ is performed in our office under local anesthesia. During the procedure, Dr. Clevens & Dr. Khelemsky creates and conceals a zigzag incision along the neckline. Then, they contour and remove the unwanted fat that's deposited in the area, tightens the underlying muscles, and remove any excess skin.

What are the benefits of the Signature Profile Neck Lift™?

The greatest benefit is a significant improvement in the contour of the neck and chin, because the Signature Profile Neck Lift™ tightens the lax muscles that often form bands on the neckline. Plus, the procedure can be safely and comfortably performed in the office under local anesthesia and requires a very small incision that is well hidden and fades over time.

How long does the Signature Profile Neck Lift™ last?

Among the great benefits of this procedure are long-lasting results. The Signature Profile Neck Lift™ lasts for many years, with some patients still enjoying the benefits 15-20 years out from this procedure.

What is the recovery like after the Signature Profile Neck Lift™?

After the Signature Profile Neck Lift™, a bandage is put in place and removed after about two to three days following the procedure. We find that most of our patients have very little discomfort after the Signature Profile Neck Lift™ and are able to return to work or their ordinary day-to-day activities after just a few days.

How is the Signature Profile Neck Lift™ different from the Laser-Assisted Weekend Neck Lift™?

The Laser-Assisted Weekend Neck Lift™ defines the jawline, neck, and chin, whereas the Signature Profile Neck Lift™ is designed for patients who have more excess tissue in the neck line. That’s why the Signature Profile Neck Lift™ is ideal for any patient who has a lot of heaviness and laxity in the neck and chin area.
