Dr. Clevens is asked by a joint venture between a Swiss medical device manufacturer and an American laser company to lead a study examining the remarkable healing effects of platelet gel and platelet rich plasma in the rejuvenation of the skin. Dr. Clevens will lead this national multi-center trial that combines platelet gel with non-ablative laser skin resurfacing for the removal of lines and wrinkles.

Dr. Clevens is invited to author a series of academic articles for publication evaluating emerging ablative and non-ablative laser technologies for skin rejuvenation. As an expert in laser skin rejuvenation who is often called upon to correct mistakes in laser surgery, Dr. Clevens is also invited to publish an article that addresses the avoidance and management of complications in laser surgery.

Experienced nurse practictioner, Judy Paternoster, ARNP-C, joins the Clevens Center for Facial Cosmetic Surgery. The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Medicine recently appointed Ross A. Clevens, MD, FACS, to its Volunteer Faculty.
