Victoria Eldredge was always in the sun as a child. Her family moved to Titusville when she was 2 years old.Her father had taken a job with NASA in the early days of the space program. He also was a lifeguard, an expert swimmer and a diver, and their family could often be found at the beach or boating. “I was a water baby,” said Eldredge, 50. “Even though we used sunscreen, of course, when I was coming up, sunscreen wasn’t like it is today. It’s so much better today, and we have better knowledge of what to do.”
