What are the different types of Restylane?

Restylane Kysse

Restylane Kysse is specially designed for lip enhancement, augmenting lips, filling out lip lines, and restoring lip volume in the process. It also has the ability to improve lip color. Its unique formulation gives the lips a natural look and feel, leaving the patient with a fuller smile without any obvious signs of cosmetic work.

Restylane Kysse is a hyaluronic acid-based filler that utilizes XpresHAn technology, which allows for a carefully-calculated amount of cross-linking between the hyaluronic acid molecules. This filler’s smoothness and uniformity make it feel like natural lip tissue.

Restylane Silk

As with the other Restylane products, Restylane Silk is based on hyaluronic acid, a compound that is produced naturally by the body. What sets Restylane Silk apart, however, is that it is formulated with smoother, smaller particles of hyaluronic acid, making it better suited for injection into the lips.

On top of being an ideal product for lip enhancement, it can also be used in other areas, such as the tear troughs and under the eyes, to revitalize the face. Once this filler is injected into the carefully -planned treatment sites, Restylane Silk results in an immediate increase in volume and smooths out fine lines.

Restylane Lyft

Also known as Perlane, Restylane Lyft is the first filler approved by the FDA to promote plumpness and volume in the cheeks to attenuate smile lines (nasolabial folds). Just like other members of the Restylane family, this dermal filler is based on hyaluronic acid and features a large particle size that enhances contours in the midface when injected into the deeper layers of the skin.

By addressing concerns such as sagging of the cheeks and midface region, Restylane Lyft induces a decrease in the appearance of nasolabial folds, smile lines, and jowls. After the facial tissue has been lifted, the Restylane Lyft filler can be administered directly to the targeted areas to soften these features. This process revitalizes the patient’s skin without giving it a “stretched” look.

Restylane-L

Restylane-L is a dermal filler that is geared toward filling and smoothing out skin texture. It is formulated with Hyaluronic acid and lidocaine. Hyaluronic acid is a natural compound of the body that retains moisture, promotes tissue repair, and strengthens the skin structure.

As people age, hyaluronic acid production starts to taper off. Placing it into the skin manually aids in keeping elastin and collagen together. The lidocaine portion of the filler is a type of local anesthetic that keeps patients comfortable throughout the treatment session. Restylane-L is primarily used for patients seeking lip augmentation for plumper, fuller lips.

Restylane Refyne

Restylane Refyne is designed to fill out fine lines and wrinkles, leaving the patient with a more youthful appearance. This innovative filler is formulated with natural compounds of the body that promote moisturization and volumization of the skin. The results are beautiful and natural-looking.

A member of the Restylane collection of hyaluronic acid-based products, Restylane Refyne is infused with XpressHAn Technology, which has the ability to address fine lines, resulting in a younger-looking face with natural results.

Restylane Defyne

Restylane Defyne is primarily used to address fine lines around the mouth and nose region. The filler was designed with the XpressHAn Technology, which allows for increased malleability in the skin. This characteristic of the filler ensures that the patient feels totally normal as they smile, frown, or cry. There is no stiffness.

Hyaluronic acid, the base of this gel, is a compound naturally produced by the human body, making it totally safe for injection. The results are incredibly natural.

Restylane Contour

Restylane Contour is a filler designed specifically to treat volume loss in the midface and cheeks. Like Kysse, Defyne, and Refyne, it’s formulated with the XpresHAn technology, which has the ability to address signs of aging without affecting facial movements.

The XpresHAn technology works by crosslinking the hyaluronic acid molecules, making them better suited to support facial structures. Unlike other gels that are based on hyaluronic acid, Restylane Contour can easily blend with the cheeks because of its specialized consistency.

How Restylane Works for You

Restylane works best for fine lines and to enhance the lip line, creating its results by replacing the dermal volume that can be lost as a part of the natural aging process. Utilizing a synthetic form of the natural substance known as hyaluronic acid, Restylane plumps the treated area, smoothing over fine lines and wrinkles in the process. It also works to encourage your skin’s moisture retention, so you can enjoy a supple and youthful look.

The Restylane Treatment Experience

Since Restylane is a crystal-clear, non-animal, biodegradable gel based on natural substances, there is no need for a skin test to test for allergic reactions, as there is with collagen. The gel is carefully injected in tiny amounts with a very fine needle.

Restylane treatments are performed in our comfortable office environment and take less than a half-hour to complete. There will be no downtime once your treatment is finished, and you will be able to notice your results immediately. Most patients resume their ordinary activities immediately after their Restylane treatment.

The results are instantaneous and produce a long-lasting, natural enhancement that is gentle and safe for your skin. Your outcome will last between six and 12 months, and our team will provide you with aftercare instructions that help you preserve and maintain your results.
