This lovely patient had 25-year-old silicone implants from Dow Corning. Because the settlement trust was about to close, she chose to have the old silicone implants removed. I removed the implants and breast capsules. I believe the capsules should always be removed because of problems that could develop if they were not removed. She made the choice to not replace the implants.
