Fellow, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Dr. Ricky Sayal - HEADSHOTDr. Ricky Sayal is completing a yearlong fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery under the mentorship of Ross A. Clevens, MD, FACS. With nearly 10 years of training and experience, Dr. Sayal completed an internship in general surgery and a facial plastic surgery residency at Michigan State University’s Beaumont Hospital, where he also served as chief resident.  Prior to joining the Clevens Face and Body Specialists team, Dr. Sayal’s advanced training included a fellowship in head and neck reconstructive plastic surgery at the Nebraska Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center in Omaha.

Dr. Sayal earned his medical degree at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he also taught classes in otolaryngology as an assistant clinical professor. Prior to medical school, he completed his undergraduate work at the University of Michigan. Passionate about using his skills to serve the community, Dr. Sayal has provided health screenings and preventative education as a volunteer physician in the U.S. and on a medical mission in Guatemala. He also served as a mentor for autistic children as part of the Son-Rise Program. 

As a facial plastic surgery fellow, Dr. Sayal specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery procedures including rhinoplasty, eyelid lift, and neck lift. He also provides nonsurgical facial rejuvenation options including laser skin resurfacing, relaxers to smooth lines and wrinkles, and fillers to restore volume. In addition, Dr. Sayal has a strong interest in skin cancer care, from diagnosis to treatment and reconstructive facial plastic surgery to restore his patients’ appearance following MOHS surgery.

When he’s not helping his patients look and feel their best, Dr. Sayal also enjoys working out, watching movies, and traveling.
