Pain after a neck lift in Melbourne, Florida is minimal. Post-operation, pain medication is prescribed, but it is unlikely that it will be needed for more than a day or two following your procedure. The neck lift surgery is a very well-tolerated procedure. Most patients will return to work and social activities ten to fourteen days after surgery. However, you should avoid strenuous physical exercise for four to six weeks following a neck lift. It can trigger swelling and end up causing you pain.

Also you should try to minimize any activity that increases blood flow to the area will also help minimize swelling and throbbing. Keeping your head elevated after surgery may help decrease swelling. If you are interested in reducing your ‘turkey neck’ or your ‘double chin’ then a neck lift will help you. However, jowls, upper and midface, forehead, eyelids, and the aging process cannot be helped by the neck lift procedure.  Dr. Clevens originated and has refined his neck lifting technique to achieve the neckline that you have always wanted -- in less time and with less recovery than you had imagined.
