All plastic surgeons want perfect scars quickly after surgery. However, some ethnicities such has Hispanic and Asian can develop hyperpigmenation or a darkening of the scar. This occurs a few months after surgery. In most patients the scars will eventually fade. This patient's scar is low enough to hide in a small bikini even if it doesn't fade. I would consider revising the scar if it didn't improve.
